What’s a good way to taste good coffee?

I've really gotten into coffee at this point but I'm a little lost. I use an aeropress for coffee and a flair neo with a bottomless attachment for espresso. I've played with what different parameters (grinder size, brew time, brew temp, ect.) change with the flavor of the coffee as well as used different brew recipes, but I'm not sure if what I make is "good". I definitely have found what I think is too bitter, but I struggle with acidity levels. This being said, I would love to taste what is something everyone recognizes as "good" so I can compare. Is it best to purchase specialty instant coffee or maybe go to a cafe and hope it's one that makes "good coffee" instead of the commodity??
