Tilted scale affecting V60 brew

So I think I may have found what was causing an issue in my brews.

The scale I use (this model, but with different branding) is actually tilted one or two degrees when measuring with my iPhone level. I noticed this when I saw that my drawdowns were finishing in the top of my bed slightly before the bottom. I have a JX-Pro so I was slightly concerned why channeling of this sort was happening and was overall unhappy with my brews.

So, today, I took the mug and V60 off the scale after I was done pouring my water and got a perfectly even drawdown and a much tastier cup of coffee.

I'm sure this is affecting the brew even more during the rest of the pouring process, so I'll be looking for an upgrade. Just wanted to put an FYI out there for people who have a similar model as it's one of the more popular ones on Amazon.
