Espresso Scale Recommendations

Long story short: My Acaia Pearl S is too long to fit on the drip tray of my espresso machine. For years, I've just been pulling the tray out a few inches, and balancing the scale precariously, and sorta dealing with it. But since the drip tray is pushed out, the solenoid valve flushes water into the base of the machine and makes a mess.

So I'm finally ready to stop mopping up water after every brew. Looking for some recommendations on espresso scales (or any coffee scale with a small form factor).

Ideally:

  • Small form factor no more than 4.75" x 4.75"
  • Accurate in measuring down to 0.1 grams
  • Quick/responsive
  • timing and weighing functions at the same time
  • rechargeable

So obviously the Acaia Lunar comes to mind, but wondering if there's something cheaper that would make a suitable replacement. Anyone got something they like? Am I crazy to not just get the Lunar?
