Storing coffee in the fridge (hear me out)

Storing coffee in the fridge (hear me out)

minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Storing coffee in the fridge (hear me out)

I know normally you shouldn’t store coffee in the fridge but hear me out.

I know vacuum sealing coffee for freezing is a thing people do but here’s my situation: I’ve got some very nice coffee that I wish to save for later (whole beans ofc), I have a vacuum sealer, what I haven’t got is freezer space – I have basically a mini fridge so the “freezer” compartment is tiny and not very cold anyway

So if I vacuum seal individual portions of beans, is there any reason why I can’t store them in the fridge so they stay fresh for longer?
