Modifying Bunn VP17 to brew hotter?

I'm liking my VP17 but I'd like to get the brew temps up. Has anyone ever installed the Bunn 03024.0005 Thermostat Assembly (the tea brewing thermostat)? or a custom PID controller?

IIUC the 03024.0005 only bumps the max temp to 206 (vs the stock 205 degrees)? doesn't seem very worth it to me, but wondering what others experiences are or if anyone has any advice.
