minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Lightweight Travel Grinders

Comparing a few grinders that might improve my travel situation. My current grinder is an 1Zpresso JX. Love the thing, but it weighs 650g and doesn't pack easy. I've seen some options that would fit inside an aeropress (<47mm diameter), but obviously there's at least a partial correlation between grind quality and weight. This if for bikepacking/backpacking and more traditional hotel travel.

Knock Aergrind (2022) – 445g, 167mm

Timemore Nano – 375g, 125mm

Porlex Mini II – 250g, 140mm

Full size Aeropress is 117mm deep in the plunger

What are your thoughts? Know of anything that's lightweight but won't fit in the Aeropress? I can always store coffee in the plunger. Or maybe I get the smaller aeropress if I'm not sticking the grinder inside.

Bonus: What are your thoughts on those spring-up pour over things?

What are your favorite coffee traveling tips?
