James’ new V60 video helped me realize one VERY important step I was missing…

I'd always liked my V60, but didn't necessarily prefer it over other methods. Other people raved about it, and I always thought it was decent, but much preferred my Aeropress.

Well after watching James Hoffmann's new V60 video, I realized I had never pre-warmed my ceramic v60.

Holy. Crap.

Absolute game changer. Totally feels like a different cup of coffee altogether. This is amazing. If you haven't tried it, please – that's the crucial step you're missing.

I saw a post on here about a guy who put the v60 on top of the kettle while it was heating the water in order to preheat it. The steam from the kettle heated the v60 immensely and wholly.

Just posting this in case someone else has had the same problem!
