Is there a way to decrease the goat/cow smell of unwashed coffee?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Is there a way to decrease the goat/cow smell of unwashed coffee?

My wife and I have a subscription to a local coffee roaster who we trust. They send a variety of beans and including some unwashed and sun dried coffees. The flavor is interesting but we have a hard time with the smell. I spent some time on a farm in my youth and I can best describe it as drinking a good cup of coffee while mucking out the cow shed. We are still trying to decide if the most recent bag has more of a goaty smell.

Is there any way to keep the flavor but decrease the smell? We normally make the coffee in an aero press or with a coarser grind in a chemex.
