I had the best drip coffee of my life in Bavaria, how do I make it at home?

I was in a small down in the alps, and the coffee was the best I’ve ever had. The machine was a giant, like two feet tall. It looked like this. The coffee took a long time to brew, like 45 minutes.

Oddly, when I travelled the rest of Germany, I’d ask for drip coffee and they’d look at me like I was a Martian and then serve me the grossest shit.

When I was in Hamburg I was on a mission. I went to five top rated coffee shops in town. None of them had the machine.

How can I get this coffee at home? I’m assuming it was the special machine, and the type of coffee can be researched after the fact.

Edit: In anticipation that I may get this question, I can’t call them and ask for reasons I’m not going to disclose. But you guys can feel free haha
