French press alternative for someone with a disability?

I have a family member who used to be a big french press fan. He was diagnosed with Parkinsons, and I think the press has become a little too much effort for him so he's been using instant coffee (nicer instant, but still not like he used to drink) instead. He doesn't like to elaborate on why he doesn't like the french press anymore, but I've gathered it's a combo of too much effort to press down, maybe worried about it sliding because of tremors, and annoying to clean up.

My question is: is there a good easy and low effort alternative to french press that I could get him for a gift? He only drinks 1-2 cups of coffee in the morning so a drip maker is probably too much (and takes up too much counter space for his liking). I was looking at the OXO pour over coffee maker, is that a good option? Are there any other good options? Thanks for the help!
