I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Are grinder hoppers universal in neck size?

I have a nuovo simonelli mdx grinder that I really love, but it’s hopper is too big for me, both in terms of length and overall size. I’m looking for a replacement but it’s not easy to find/try good alternatives in where I live, so I’ll have to order online or maybe AliEx and such. Original NS hoppers are too expensive as well. All I want is a shorter version, 300-500 gram (0.5-1 pounds) capacity will be more than enough.

Are the neck size for grinder hoppers are same size for all? Neck sizes are mostly not listed in vendors. I checked and my hopper has neck size of 55mm. Any suggestions? Many thanks
