I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Anyone know of a coffee database?

I just opened a bag of disappointingly underwhelming decaf from a UK roastery who usually sell great things. It was dull and empty. I don't know if it's my bag or just the way these particular beans are.

This got me thinking: Is there a database anywhere with user provided notes for particular coffees? It would be great to know what other people think about this coffee. And it would be so useful for choosing what to try next.

Does anyone know of such a thing?
