I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Aeropress Coffee Suddenly Very Hollow

I have been brewing with my fortnightly subscription coffee for the last week and getting somewhat good results with the Aeropress, Slightly fruity for my taste but a flavour was there. For some reason When I brewed today the coffee just lacked any developed flavor, it was more like water with a hint of coffee. I tried going finer and brewing longer just to see if it was not extracting properly with the same results.

Any ideas for what might have caused the change?

Recipe:

14 g Coffee ground at 11 on wilfa uniform

200g water

2 minute brew
