Is zeroing in my grinder something I need to worry about (right now)?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Hello people,

I just obtained a DF64 and am pretty hyped about it.

I heard about 'zeroing in' a grinder.

My question is: is that a "now or never" type thing (e.g. some amount of damage to the burrs may occur if I don't do it before frequent usage), or is that something that I can still consider any time later (i.e. it's purely a question of grind uniformity)?
