Takahiro Shizuku induction?

Hello! I have a question for those of you who own and use a Takahiro Shizuku kettle. The 0.9L version was specifically described as being induction compatible on the site I ordered from. Yet it doesn’t work on my induction burner, nor will a very strong neodymium magnet stick to the bottom of it. I am wondering if others have had a similar experience? (Or perhaps whether I’ve gotten something that isn’t the genuine article.) So if you have one, does yours pass the magnet test?

Thanks from a newbie.
