minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

What’s the better brewer for me? A French press, or pour over setup(v60)?

I’ve never been a huge regular coffee person, but recently my wife got us an espresso machine to try(she is a coffee head). I’ve really been liking the stronger more concentrated coffee it makes. Even mixed with milk the coffee is still very bold and punchy. The main reason I haven’t really been a coffee person is it’s always just tasted watery and light to me(almost tea like?). With espresso I can use a double shot, add 8 oz of milk, add syrups galore, ice it, etc, and it still has a strong coffee taste that is always there. I’d like to re-consider and try drinking “regular” coffee again, mainly so I can switch it up once in a while; the same espresso drink every morning is a bit monotonous. I like rich and bold coffee, but not bitter super dark roasts. Something that will stand out and cut through milk. Which brewer would be the better choice? French press or v60? I’m a tinkerer kind of person, and love to try different things and experiment with various types of coffee/techniques.
