I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

What do you guys do with beans you don’t like?

I bought a bag of expensive Colombian koji fermented beans. I've tried quite a few different brewing styles but I really don't like the coffee they produce. It's rather harsh, no sweetness at all and the koji tastes of miso soup which as it turns out isn't a flavour I like in my coffee.
Same thing with some espresso roasted beans I was gifted. I prefer light roasted pour over coffee and got little to no use for espresso beans. What do you guys do with coffee beans that produce coffee that's not your thing? Drink it anyway? Keep them for harsh times? Gift them to someone else?
