I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

As mentioned last week, I write briefs for industry and wanted to summarise some of what we see in the news and what's been going on this week or is upcoming this week.

Now without any blogs with referral links out and no pre-launches (mods please msg me and I will edit out anything for you!)

As you can tell, it's been a slow week this week. This is because all the major manufactures now have their products out for the holiday season and I wasn't going to bore you all with "Starbucks launch new Christmas latte". They'll be some more interesting information over the next month, then a drop off, then ramp up in Jan.

As a modest replacement for more news, I offer you some photos of my recent visit to the WatchHouse Covent Garden store. These guys featured last week when Davide won the Coffee Masters in New York.

I had an amazing espresso (rich and sweet of course) and specialist pour-over with a natural bean (information below).
