The German airline wanted to give the aircraft another chance at being useful. The plane was withdrawn after 10 years of flying.

So the German airline teamed up with traveler loyalty program Mikes & More GmbH and Lufthansa Technik to create the Lufthansa Upcycling Collection, made from parts of the plane.

The plane’s slats and side panels were transformed into coffee tables, and a separate table has been made from two windows and some safety glass. Four other windows were converted into wall bars, and 20 more have been made into clocks.

Even the plane’s safety cards have been recycled and turned into upcycled wash bags. In total, about 92% of the plane was recycled for the project.

These tables come with a hefty price tag, ranging from $1,550 to $3,300, and the walls cost between $1,327 and $1,660. But hey, you could get a keychain made with the plane’s aluminum cladding for $27.
