minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

I don't have an espresso machine because I don't have 20 grand to put down on one (yet), so I just used pre ground beans I got from a friend (I intend to upgrade to freshly ground when I can afford a hand grinder).

I heat up 8oz of water in a electric kettle until it's boiling and then I mix 7oz of milk and 3oz of coffee creamer (like I said, poor man's latte, you were warned) for flavor and I heat that until sufficiently warm.

I froth the milk cream mixture in a French press (I trick I learned from James Hoffmann) until it's nice and foamy.

I empty the foam out, and put in 4 table spoons of ground coffee and put the boiling water and let it sit for 4 minutes, stir and scoop the bitter foam off the top (I don't remember the name of it) and pour into the nice little coffee cup I bought at Walmart today for just over a dollar.

I pour the steamed milk in to the coffee until it's a nice light color making sure to block the milk foam with a spoon. Then I scoop out the milk foam and drizzle it on top.

I like the texture and the coffee creamer makes it taste pretty good. I'm happy with it! Is it café quality? God no! I'd need an espresso machine, a milk steamer, a Mokka pot, an actual grinder and some good beans that A: aren't made by Starbucks (ugh) and B: freshly ground. I really like the makeshift feel of it, and hey I can only go up from here.

Edit: Removed rude joke because this community actually seems pretty nice. Didn't mean to step off on the wrong foot.
