I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

People with Aeropress, Chemex, and V60– when do you use each one?

I currently have a chemex and aeropress. 12 g recipes in the Aeropress used to be my daily go-to, but I was recently gifted a Stagg EKG that makes the chemex so much better and more fun.

Since I normally brew 12-15 g recipes, I feel like I'm wasting the chemex filter since they are so large (and getting pricier). Maybe I should get a V60 as my daily one-cup brewer? And ceramic or plastic?
