Machine grinding vs. hand grinding: is either inherently ‘better’?

Hi guys,

Quick question.

I'm the very happy owner of a Lido 2 hand grinder which I now use regularly for getting a nice coarse grind for cold brew.

I also have a cheap(ish) electric burr grinder but I haven't fired it up in years.

My question is as follows:

If all other things are roughly equal (quality of hand grinder and electric) …. would one (perhaps hand grinding) be necessarily superior to the other?

Now that I'm getting into hand grinding I feel like sticking with it. But I was wondering if perhaps machines would offer superior grind size uniformity/consistency?
