minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Hello! My apologies if this question is dumb. So I was under the impression that a macchiato was a shot of espresso “marked” with a dollop of milk: thus very small in a little espresso cup. Have people changed the meaning of this beverage? I keep seeing people showing caramel macchiatos or ones with other flavored syrups and they can easily fill a 16oz cup! Thanks for the help 🙂
