I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Jura S8 – Coffee taste like chemical after cleaning with Jura tablet.

I’ve recently purchased a Jura S8 and have just performed the first prompted cleaning with the Jura cleaning tablet. I’ve brewed 8 cups since and each taste like chemical. A hell of a waste of good coffee. Any suggestions on how to flush it out without wasting coffee would be appreciated. I don’t think I’ll be using those tablets again. I’m thinking just run the cleaning setting frequently with just water may be the best option?
