is espresso really that strong?

Ok so I've got diagnosed ADHD and stimulants like coffee work opposite for me. Instead of energizing me it calms me,hell I've fallen asleep from it before.

The problem is a lot of my friends keep telling me I'm drinking way too much espresso. I drink Classico and Bustelo. Anywhere from 2 to 5 mugs a day.

Again i can't feel the effects the way others do. But some of my friends are concerned it'll jack up my stomach.

So for the average person how does espresso effect you. I'd like to know.

Also if anyone has coffee recommendations I'm open to em.
