Is black coffee addicting like other coffees?

I’ve never been a coffee drinker primarily because I don’t want to be someone who can’t function without it- I’ve heard too many horror stories of people who tried to cut coffee for a month and couldn’t make it because it was physically torturous.

Despite the stories, I’ve tried black coffee due to its many health benefits. I’d like to drink to reap the benefits, but I want to make sure I don’t become physically reliant on it.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. God bless.
