minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Indian Coffee is just so weird to me

Hello, I purchased some quality beans from my roaster: Colombia, Brasil and Costa Rica; but this time I decided to try India Malabar Monsonaro (as it is called in Spanish).

It has a valuation of 83 and this notes:

"It has a wide repertoire of spicy aromas, among which violet pepper predominates. It has an aged and demure flavor with a hint of wood and soft sweet notes."

To me, it is just so spiced up in aroma, or at least too different. My girlfriend can't stand the smell, she refuses to be in the same room while I open the bag. Has this been the experience for you?

I do espresso with it. Which method do you recommend?
