How long does pre-grinded coffee last under proper storage circumstances?

Perhaps this topics is frequently asked so bare with me, but as per title.I' enjoy hiking, sometimes doing 2 to 3 day hikes on the mountains and would like to brew a nice cup of coffee either with a plastic V60 or Aeropress in the mornings (these 2 are the lightest and easiest to clean method for me). Now I don't want to bring my hand grinder as it is quite sturdy, so i'd like to pre-grind my coffee before leaving, put it in a sealed container and save some space and effort.

My question is:

  1. How long does pre-grinded coffee usually last until it is too stale to brew? Suppose you grind it and intermediately put it in a air tight container. I don't mind losing a bit of freshness as it is still better than instant coffee.
  2. Would a plastic zip-lock with perhaps a bag of pack of silica gels be enough to keep freshness or do you have other recommendations?

Thank you for the help! This community is awesome!

Edit. I'd also love to hear how the rest of you hikers like to brew your morning coffee and how you carry it around?
