Gaggia Classic Pro vs Breville/Sage Barista Express

Amateur home brewer and latte art enthusiast here!

I used to have a Delonghi Dedica before moving about and having to sell most of my gear.

I've been looking into new options (in the £400-500 range) when I spotted both machines mentioned above for similar prices this past week and wasn't sure of the trade-offs in quality, brew and longevity.

I've already got a manual grinder I'm happy with (1Zpresso K-Plus) – though an automatic one would be handy for lazier days. This is the main reason for my dilemma. I'm aware it heats up quicker but, setting aside the added grinder, does the brew quality of the Barista Express match up to the Classic Pro?

(Follow-up: I don't see any particular value in the auto-tamping sensor in the Express Impress, but is it safe to assume it brews about as well as the Barista Express? also spotted at similar price)
