I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Double grinding for pour-over to produce less fines, fact or myth?

So Lance Hedrick seems to mention this a few times in his videos, and more directly in the Momentum grinder review. It’s basically the idea that grinding super coarse first and then regrinding the result to the desired setting produces less fines than when grinding normally. The grinder in the review seems to be basically doing that in one single grinder.

Has anyone tried this to good effect? Or is it a myth? Or depends on beans and/or grinder burr shape?
