I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Convince me oat milk is the superior pairing with espresso.

It seems like I blinked and most of the 3rd wave coffee shops in my city are now offering oat milk as the default pairing for espresso drinks. Why?

Is it about taste/ foaming ability? Is it because cow milk is too expensive? Is it a values statement about animal products?

I have nothing against oat milk. It just caught me off guard when I had to special request cow milk for my cap.
