Considering opening Mobile Café. Need tips/advice.

Hi all,

So my parents have a “tab” (small travel trailer) that they aren’t using and they brought up an idea that I (a huge coffee nerd who loves making coffee for any and everyone) could outfit it and use it as a mobile cafe to make some extra money on the weekends, or for small public events, etc. They work in education and say there’d be a huge market at their schools in the morning or on lunch. Anyways, I roast my own coffee and am pretty skilled with brewing using various methods.

So I’m just beginning to consider this idea and what I would need to make it successful. I know I’d need commercial equipment (grinder, espresso machine with multiple brew heads, etc)…business permit, public health permits, etc.

So I’m just wondering what other things I should take into account that would be important to consider? Anyone else have any experience in mobile cafes?

Thanks!
