Coffee’s taste in a ceramic mug vs borosilicate glass one. It makes a difference to me.

Hey, I have a bodum borosilicate glass double-wall mug and I've repeatedly noticed coffee doesn't taste quite the same as in any regular ceramic mug. If I were to describe it, I would say the coffee has more "body" in the ceramic mugs, a taste that's more "rounded" … I actually prefer it to the sort of lighter and more acidic taste I perceive with the bodum.

Has anyone noticed something similar or has an explanation that could account for what my taste buds are feeling ? Do you have a preference for the material of your mugs ?
