minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

I have a Cuisinart coffee maker. After the coffee brews, it just stays in the grinding basket with the water. Nothing comes out of the machine after the brewing completes. I have been cleaning it thoroughly so that's not the issue and there are no blockages. Wondering if anyone could help me work out how to fix this? Thank you
