coffee noob here! help with french press!

So I found a perfectly fine french press lying around in my home recently and decided to try it out. In our country, instant coffee is the norm unless you go to fancy coffee shops and coffee beans can be hard (and expensive) to find.

I found ground coffee for a good price. It's called Lavazzo Espresso Italiano and the seller assured me that I can use it in a french press. But after opening the pack the coffee seems too fine for french press.

Can I still use it? Do I just decrease the brew time from 4 minutes to 2 or 3?

Any suggestions are welcome!
