Brew takes too long on Chemex even with a coarse grind?

I just recently bought a Chemex and I’m basically using the same technique as the single cup v60 from Hoffman, now sure if that’s ok… I normally do 15g of coffee and 250ml of water. It’s a 8 cup Chemex.

What is the expected time for a Chemex brew? Mine is around 8-9 minutes, which I believe is too long.
