minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Best Manual Grinder to Buy Used.

I am in the process of upgrading my coffee game, but do not have money to spend on a new Encore electric or top-end manual grinder, but am also not sure a cheaper one (like the Skerton Pro) is much of an upgrade over my admittedly underwhelming Cuisinart burr grinder. I have two small kids so the quieter grind and value for money are leading me to manual at the moment and waiting for birthday/holidays to ask for a nicer electric one. Espresso upgrade would be nice, but my wife's pallete isn't super sophisticated, and the Cuisinart is sufficient for her right now. I mostly do pour over, and sometimes French press.

My main question, is there a quality grinder that tends to hold up the best to provide good value used or a diamond in the rough to look out for at thrift shops? I would ideally spend between $50-75 for used. Or would a cheaper one in that price range new get me by until the gifting seasons?
