Barely any yield in a moka pot; what to do?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Barely any yield in a moka pot; what to do?

Last time I brewed coffee in a moka, I barely got any liquid from it to fill a regular mug. Considering that it's a 6-cup, that is concerning.

My grind size was like salt (around 1-1.5 mm in diameter), I used freshly boiled water, and I brewed it on the lowest flame. The beans were lighly roasted, as far as I remember.

Don't know what went wrong here. Maybe I should grind it more coarse? I also fully fill the basket, so that might be a factor. Though I think you're supposed to do that?

As far as equipment goes, I use a Bialetti Venus 6 and a manual grinder. The grinder is offbrand, but has a good build quality — all components are metal, and there doesn't seem to be any loose parts.
