Attention all aeropress paper filter reusers!

I have a nice lil way to extend the life of your filters folks – IF you also have a metal filter.

If you have a metal filter – pop that in the aeropress on top of your paper filter and proceed as normal. I tend to find I can re use my papers twice as long as they don't have to do the brunt of the filtering – the metal filter takes 95% of the action, and the paper filter does the very last 5%, so they stay fresher for longer! I don't find the coffee tastes any different to paper alone.

Try it 🙂
