minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Aging of coffee (specifically decaf) in freezer

Hey,

My girlfriend mostly drink decaf and she has a favorite coffee that she gets from a reputable roaster. Problem is, she really likes it when she gets one at the cafe, but she doesnt when we brew it at home. Even I struggle to get a correct grind size (DF64 V1) and extraction (PID's Silvia) even with state of the art RDT + WDT and puck screen.

Now, in light of the recent Hoffman's video on decaf, my best hypothesis is that this coffee gets stale too fast (she keeps it in a brown paper bag in spite of my repeated advising not to do so). She only drinks one or two a week. I want to make her a "bean cellar" using small spice jars containing single doses that would be kept in the freezer.

I'm wondering if keeping coffee in the freezer at, say, -6 degrees C would be worth it ? I've been freezing coffee for years but I usually keep it in bigger bags that I get out once or twice, but I usually drink all of it in a month or two. Would individual doses work, and any insight on how fast it keeps on aging in the freezer would be appreciated. I'm also wondering, should I freeze it right away as fast as possible, or aim for a week or two of degasing before transfering it and freezing it ?
