French Press Help!

So my partner and I are both coffee lovers and are planning on finally starting our home setup. Since it's her birthday soon, I wanted to surprise her by getting a burr grinder and french press to start us off but I wanted to ask the experts (you guys) if my choices were sound. I am working with a lower budget but I was thinking of this burr grinder and this french press.

I did see Frieling recommended as a good french press but I'm in the UK so it's awkward to get and out of my budget right now. I figured allocating most of the budget to the grinder was a good way to ensure a decent first home brew experience! I can't really go higher than the price for the grinder linked and a french press under £60 would be ideal.

Recommendations are much appreciated!
