minimum dose size?

I use the Hario switch to brew my coffee and am trying to reduce my caffeine consumption. Hence I would like to brew smaller cups of coffee. I am currently using 10g of coffee with 160g of water. (1:16 Ratio) I am wondering if there is a minimum amount of coffee...

Kona Coffee and other Hawaiian variety recommendations

I have questions specific to the Hawaiian coffee market. I am visiting the Big Island of Hawaii for a coffee tasting and farm tour. I am hoping to visit a couple farms, and will be seeking coffee shops/roasters daily. Natural Process or Dry processed coffees are my favorite, so I am looking to focus on farms and roasters that offer this drying style. I have only had disappointing Kona blends thus far, so I am not sure what to look for with 100% Kona varieties.

I was shocked as a Pikachu after researching Kona coffee bean prices. I also learned that Kona may not even be the best variety grown on the islands. So I have a few questions about the varieties grown on the islands, pricing, etc.

-What brand is a good representation of the Kona variety? -Is Kona coffee $45-$65+ per pound everywhere, or just at the farms? -How about Supermarkets? -Any secondary markets or wholesalers that will sell to the public?

-Any recommendations on Natural Processed coffees grown on any of the islands? -Any coffee shop or roaster recommendations?

-For those that have been, how different are the free coffee farm tours from the paid, regarding content, samples, gift shop/store?

Thank you for reading this far, and sharing any recommendation.
