Descaling a Commercial Super-Auto

I've got a Schaerer Verismo 701 (effectively the same as an Ambiente 15) that I recovered from a liquidation sale. While the machine works fairly well and has only needed a few small items to get up and running, I've got a hunch that there's some scaling inside due to some scale residue I've seen on the hot water spout and some brewing inconsistencies I've noticed. The manufacturer only provides guidance on how to clean the brew group with a cafiza-style cleaner, but gives no insight on dos-and-don'ts for descaling.

I have the machine setup on a flowjet pump pulling from bottled water mixed to an SCA-approved recipe, so it would be trivial for me to draw in a descaling solution into the machine; however, I didn't want to do this blindly for fear that there may be some components/seals that could be damaged-especially thinking about trying to descale the boilers. Assuming there isn't going to be a Schaerer expert in here, is there any general advice for procedure with commercial machines vaguely similar to this? I'm comfortable with disassembling the machine and fittings, though I always prefer to avoid it, if possible, to avoid unnecessary work.

Does anyone have suggestions on resources to look into, or general advice of dos-and-don'ts of descaling when a machine doesn't have a self-descaling process?
